Crimes Of The Heart Revealed At The MAC Feb. 10
Beth Henley's Pulitzer Prize winning play, Crimes of the Heart, opens February 10 at the Manchester Arts Center.
Set in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, in 1974, the tragic-comedy revolves around three sisters who reunite after one of them shoots her abusive husband. As they talk, past indiscretions bubble to the surface, and each must face the consequences of their crimes of the heart.
The cast includes Emilee May (Lenny Macgrath), Haylee Eaton (Chick Boyle), Caleb Burton (Doc Porter), Kolby Hopkins (Meg Macgrath), Emily Simmons (Babe Macgrath), Ethan Willis (Barnette Lloyd). The crew includes Rachel Garrard, producer; Noel Clements, director; Paige Lykins, stage manager; Zach Winton, assistant stage manager; Madison Taylor, property mistress; Katelyn Woodlee, property mistress; Nick Mullins, lighting operator; Tina Bunting, sound operator; Vicki Qualls, costume designer; Rachel Qualls, assistant costume designer; Amanda Wright, house manager; Erin Wells, usher.
A Teen Actors Guild and Millennium Repertory Company production, the play runs February 10-19. The curtain rises on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30PM, and on Sundays at 2PM.
Tickets at the door are $13 for adults and $11 for students, seniors and military.
