Donations

Anyone wishing to make donations in memory of anyone or in honor of anyone may do so by sending the information and a check to MMAC, P.O. Box 773, Manchester, TN 37349. Your gift will be acknowledged to the family, and you will receive a thank you card from the Arts Commission.

Naming Rights

The Commission is also offering each room for naming rights. Each room will be marked with a 4x6 plaque with the name of the donor.

AUDITIONS, AUDITIONS, AUDITIONS!!

Auditions will be held on February 8, 2010 at the Manchester Arts Center for All Shook Up

The production dates will be April 16, 17, 18 and April 23,24,25 and again on April 30, May 1 and May 2.

Everyone loves the "King" so get on your Blue Suede Shoes and come on down for the auditions.

WAG to Resume on January 12, 2010

Following a fantastic production of Alice in Wonderland, Jackie Masiella is ready to resume WAG meetings. Come to the Manchester Arts Center if you are between the ages of 6 and 14 on January 12 and learn what ideas Jackie has in store for a spring show!

If you missed Always...Patsy Cline

If you missed Always...Patsy Cline, you missed great performances by Jackie Masiella and Deb Obenchain. When Deb got the opportunity to be on a TV reality show during 2 of the performances, she was ably replaced by Karen Wainright. Karen had two shows to observe Deb's performances before she took over in the role of Louise--the comic element in the show.

Thank you Karen you are a real trouper and did a great job!

TAG

TAG is sponsoring a Guitar Hero-Rock Band competition on January 16, 2010. There will be judges and monetary prizes.

Call 728-3434 to reserve your space to compete. The cost is $5 per band member. Tickets to enjoy the competition are just $2.

Bonnaroo - Donation of $9,000

The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has approved a grant of $5,000 to equip an art studio. We are greatly appreciative to the Community Foundation for their help and support as we strive to provide a much needed outlet for students and adults in our area.

The Bridgestone/Firestone Trust Fund has donated $5,000 for a sign at the Manchester Arts Center. We give our special thanks to Bridgestone/Firestone for their support! We will advertise upcoming auditions, plays and events on our sign. We hope to have the sign underway very soon. Thank you again, Bridgestone/Firestone, for your recognition of the importance of the arts!
